Australian made for 20 years and tested in some of the world’s toughest waters, Hydralign is a trusted, more effiecient and robust self feathering yacht propeller. Designed to get boats reacting more positively (foward and astern) through better use of engine power, tougher construction, fewer working parts and positive incremental pitch adjustment.


LIGHT FABRICATION

JBC has been fabricating in thin wall stainless steel tube for 35 years. Over this time we have developed the machines/skills to bend/rolltube, polish joins in tube so they disappear. We also have the ability to work on small dinghy rigging components and are involved in rigging the 18ft's league.

- Working in tube up to 8" diameter.
- Simple solution to Flemings rod holder photo's.
- We will remove, repair and re-install all fittings requiring modification or repair.
- Can repair large power boat bow-rails without removal and generally replacing only damaged sections.
- 1 tone drop off/pick up service and can store boat at workshop during repairs.
- Using modern welding techniques we can now fabricate in all traditional materials eg bronze, brass etc.

 


HEAVY FABRICATION

Moved into the field of heavy fabrication. We recently replaced the exhaust on a 110ft cruiser's gensets when they were upgraded. One client found a photo of a 500dia SS table box in a magazine and through JBC had three of them fabricated, machined and polished in our shop.

JBC is also prepared to take on large restoration jobs like removing fabricating and replacing large sections of slipway cradles and even fabricating whole new cradles (using milde steel, on stainless). We also have the ability to fabricate using traditional methods/rivetting etc.


MACHINING

JBC is also a well equipped machine shop with a variety of lathes from 75 to 400mm centre height as well as verticle mills and gear welding machines and a bevel generator. Being the machine shop that produces Hydralign feathering props we are obviously proficient in fairly large runs. We are also competent in machining small run and large size products including prop shafts to 3" diameter.
