ABOUT US

At JBC we offer a wealth of experience in engineering services, specialising in a variety of modern and traditional machining and fabricating techniques. We provide services such as welding, design and repair on site using all materials and metals available. JBC is also a well established machine shop. It is the site in which Hydralign feathering propellers are taken from rough cast to the finished product. JBC is owned and run by experienced sail maker Mick Lee, boat builder Kevin Allen and engineer George Atkinson.



OUR CAPABILITIES

At JBC we service all areas including; marine, architectural, commercial and domestic and fabricate in all materials including stainless steel, mild steel, brass and bronze. Our shop contains a wide variety of machiney, including multiple lathes (up to 4m bed), milling, bending and rolling machines, to complete any job. From tidy finishings such as pushpits and pulpits, manufacture of propeller shafts up to 80mm and custom made anodes, to heavy finishings and repairs on our site slipway cradle.
